Welcome to The Keep. We’re Alan and Joelle Kern, and we came up with this blog as a way to preserve our thoughts for our children and our children’s children.
Together, our goal is to live out the teachings of Jesus. We are constantly recalibrating our thoughts on how to do that, much of which runs counter to the prevailing culture. We want to record those ideas that took us a long time to wrestle through in the hopes our experience gives inspiration to those who come after us.
We entrust these thoughts to our readers to improve upon, refine, toss aside, and perhaps, one day, reflect on as the archived memory of two lost sheep that found their way together, guided along and beloved by a great shepherd.
